Date: January 22, 2025 Subject: MET Florida Officially Registered as a Federal Vendor

We’re excited to announce that as of January 2025, MET Florida is now officially registered as a federal vendor through the U.S. Government’s System for Award Management (SAM.gov).

This achievement marks a significant early milestone for our company as we prepare to scale operations throughout 2025. Federal vendor registration positions us to engage directly with government agencies, pursue prime and subcontracting work, and establish ourselves as a trusted, procurement-ready IT services provider at the national level.

What This Means for MET Florida

As a newly registered federal vendor, MET Florida now holds:

  • Unique Entity ID (UEID): G912P9AYK313

  • CAGE Code: 102N6

  • SAM.gov Status: Active and eligible for award

This status confirms that MET Florida meets all compliance, eligibility, and verification requirements to receive government contracts and participate in federal procurement programs.

Why It Matters

This registration represents much more than an administrative step — it’s a foundational part of our 2025 growth plan:

  • Access to Federal Contracts: We are now eligible to bid on and perform work for over 400 federal agencies and contracting offices across the United States.

  • Strategic Subcontracting Opportunities: Many primes seek qualified small businesses like MET Florida to fulfill contract requirements. Our approval immediately puts us in that pipeline.

  • Long-Term Stability: Government contracts are typically multi-year engagements with strong payment terms — a key pillar in building predictable, recurring revenue.

  • Differentiation: Many of our regional competitors are not federally registered, giving us a unique edge in both government and private-sector pursuits.

Laying the Foundation for Public Sector Growth

This approval aligns directly with our broader strategy to serve both commercial and government clients. Over the coming months, we will:

  • Finalize and publish our Capabilities Statement

  • Build relationships with Florida APEX Accelerator (SBDC at FGCU) and PTAC representatives

  • Identify relevant NAICS codes to map our service offerings to federal opportunities

  • Attend government contracting and procurement outreach events across Southwest Florida

This move also complements our pending WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business) certification, currently under SBA review, which will enhance our ability to participate in set-aside programs later this year.

Looking Ahead

Federal vendor registration is just the beginning. In 2025, MET Florida is focused on:

  • Expanding our regional presence throughout Southwest Florida

  • Securing our first municipal and state-level contracts

  • Building a strong pipeline of public and private sector clients

  • Positioning the company for smart, sustainable growth with minimal overhead and strong recurring revenue

Final Thoughts

Being approved as a federal vendor sends a clear message: MET Florida is here to play the long game. We’ve laid the groundwork early in the year to ensure we’re ready for every opportunity — and this milestone is a key part of that foundation.

Thank you to our early supporters, stakeholders, and partners who continue to believe in our mission and growth strategy. The road ahead is big — and we’re ready.
