MET Florida is proud to announce that we are now an officially registered vendor with Lee County, Florida, strengthening our position as a local IT services provider ready to support municipal, public sector, and regional initiatives across Southwest Florida.

This approval represents another major milestone in our 2025 growth strategy, reinforcing our commitment to both government readiness and local economic engagement.

What This Means for MET Florida

As a registered Lee County vendor, MET Florida is now fully eligible to:

  • Participate in RFPs and RFQs issued by Lee County departments and agencies

  • Respond to procurement opportunities in IT infrastructure, support, and consulting

  • Establish direct vendor relationships with key municipal stakeholders

  • Leverage our regional presence in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Lehigh Acres, and surrounding areas

Our profile is now active within the Lee County Bids & Contracts portal, reflecting our verified status and readiness to serve public entities at the county level.

Why It Matters

Lee County vendor registration adds tangible, local traction to our broader procurement strategy. Here's why it’s a key part of our plan:

  • Municipal Visibility: We are now discoverable by Lee County procurement officers actively seeking local IT vendors.

  • Proof of Local Compliance: This registration confirms our valid Business Tax Receipt (BTR), insurance coverage, and licensing for operations in Lee County.

  • Gateway to Regional Work: Many public sector opportunities begin at the local level — and being a listed vendor removes barriers to entry for those partnerships.

  • Foundation for Subcontracting: Our listing also makes it easier for primes and general contractors to identify MET Florida as a qualified, local IT partner.

Strategic Alignment

This approval aligns with MET Florida’s public sector push that began with our federal vendor registration in January 2025. Together, these milestones support our phased approach to growth:

  • Begin locally → establish trust and compliance infrastructure

  • Expand regionally → pursue municipal, county, and special district contracts

  • Scale federally → partner with primes and compete for national work under WOSB and small business programs

We are also completing registrations in additional Southwest Florida municipalities including Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, and Sarasota.

Looking Ahead

Lee County is one of Florida’s fastest-growing regions — and MET Florida is positioned to grow alongside it. With strong vendor credentials, experienced staff, and deep local roots, we are ready to serve the county’s IT needs with professionalism, integrity, and long-term vision.

This is more than just a registration. It’s a signal to partners, clients, and stakeholders that MET Florida is operationally mature, locally grounded, and ready to execute.
